Why is Cap’n Crunch partnering with Ocean Conservancy? Why now?

Ocean Conservancy is a nonprofit organization working to protect the ocean from today’s greatest global challenges. For over 60 years, Cap’n Crunch has sailed the high seas in his beloved S.S. Guppy. Next to the breakfast table, there’s no other place on the planet he loves more.

We wanted to be extremely intentional in our selection process for a purpose partner for the Cap’n Crunch brand. Ocean Conservancy offered a natural opportunity that makes sense for the brand while also laddering up to PepsiCo’s larger sustainability commitment.

We’re thrilled to give back to a cause so near and dear to the Cap’n’s seafaring heart, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that helps protect the oceans for more adventures in the 60+ years to come!
